BlackBerry recently rolled out a major update to its messenger app, BBM. This update brought in a pack of new feature like BlackBerry Channels, and a total re-design of the BlackBerry interface.
Not surprisingly, this update caused an outrage from BBM users all over the world, beacause apparently, “everything about BBM 8 isn’t just right.” says a review on App World. Most of the complaints, especially on BlackBerry App World mentioned that BBM 8 freezes on their devices and causes it to restart on its own or require a reboot to unfreeze. A few other people complained that the new BlackBerry messenger 8 looks a lot like WhatsApp, and has lost its uniqueness.
