Install iOS 7 Beta 4 Free Without UDID Activation – Bypass UDID

Guide to install ios7 beta 4 and bypass udid verification on iTunes for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Yesterday, Apple released the 4th Beta version of the iOS 7. The iOS 7 Beta 4 is currently the best iOS beta version when compared to the two earlier beta releases, but this does not mean it is glitch free. It still has its flaws but these are minimal unlike the numerous bugs discovered in the other three iOS 7 beta versions.

Though the iOS 7 beta 4 offers new features and enhancements, it still has no available jailbreak. People who upgrade to the iOS 7 from a jailbroken iOS firmware will lose their jailbreak.
Once upgraded, a device running the iOS 7 can only be downgraded to the latest public firmware which is still being signed (That is, iOS 6.1.3 or 6.1.4).

For this guide, I will show you how to bypass the iTunes UDID registration for developers to enable you upgrade to the iOS 7 beta 4 for free.

Step 1: Verify that your iPhone or iPad is running the lastest public firmware (iOS 6.1.3 or 6.1.4). If it is, then move on to Step 3.
For iPhone 5 users, if your device is jailbroken or if it is not on either 6.1.3 or 6.1.4, please see Step 2.

Step 2: First, backup your iPhone 5 from iTunes. Next, restore to the latest public version. Then do another restore with the backup you created.

Step 3: Open iTunes. Please note that this has to be the lastest version. If you are not certain whether your version is the latest or not. Visit the iTunes website to upgrade, just to be sure.

Step 4: From the iTunes window, open the Devices tab. Then hold the Option key (or SHIFT for windows) and click on Check for update.

Step 5: Browse for the corresponding iOS 7 beta 4 IPSW file for your device.
Step 6: After you choose the IPSW and complete the update, follow the iOS setup which is pretty straight forward and you should have iOS 7 beta 4 running on your device.
