Fix iTunes Error 3014 During iPhone Restore

The iTunes error 3014 signifies that iTunes is unable to obtain the SHSH blobs from the Apple server or sauriks server. Follow the guide below to fix the 3014 error:

PART I: The SHSH Blobs are Saved on Cydia or Saurik’s Server.
If you do not have the SHSH blobs saved, please scroll down to PART II

Step 1:We need to open the hosts file first.
How to open hosts file on Windows
Click start, right click on Notepad, selectRun as Administrator. When it opens, click File, then Open. Go toC:WindowsSystem32driversetcThen select the hosts file.
How to open hosts file on Mac OS
Click Go, then Go to folder, then type /etc Open the hosts file usingTextEdit
Step 2:IF you already saved the SHSH blobs on Cydia or Sauriks server, then you need toadd this code to the hosts file:
74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
(I would advise to type it out rather than copying and pasting)
Save the file.

Step 3:Using a web browser, visit gs.apple.com, It should redirect to the Cydia website, if it doesn’t then you didnt edit the hosts file correctly.
