Are you sure you want to move this file to the Recycle Bin?
If you just upgraded to windows 10, or recently got a new Windows 10 computer, you might notice something a little bit strange while deleting files or folders. They just disappear. Pressing the delete key or right clicking and choosing delete will instantly delete the file, no confirmation whatsoever, no “Yes/No” dialog box. This is the default behaviour on Windows 10, unless you change it, and the reason I have written this article is to show you how.
Interestingly, the deleted files / folders are not hard deleted. They are only moved to the Recycle Bin, thereby eliminating the extra [...]
Most people who have limited budgets end up buying low-end low-power laptops. Specs synonymous with low processing power include: Intel celeron or AMD processors, 2GB RAM, and anything less than 2.0GHz of cpu processing power.
It is true that laptops with specifications like that aren’t meant for gaming and rendering 3D animation, but if you find your PC freezing a lot while performing normal tasks like browsing the internet, typing a report, using photoshop, playing old low power games, or watching movies, then something is wrong somewhere. I am going to show you all the things you could do to increase the speed of your laptop and make it run faster.
Before you [...]
If you have been using Windows 10 for a while, you would probably have noticed that the shutdown feature does not do a full shutdown. Instead, it saves the state of the computer to the hibernation file so that your system boots up quickly next time you startup. Note that this behavior is not the same as hibernation as discussed here:
How to enable hibernate on Windows 10
This is made possible by a feature called Fast startup which is turned on by default. Turning it off would do a full shutdown when you shutdown tour PC. I really don’t see a reason why you would want to turn it off though because there are a couple other ways to quickly do a full shutdown whenever [...]
In Windows 10, the Hibernate option is not visible on the power menu because it is disabled by default. It is very easy to turn it on, and I will explain that in a second. First, let me explain why it wasn’t turned on by default.
The reason for the hibernate option not being enabled by default is because the Shutdown option does something similar. Windows 10 has a feature called Fast Startup, this feature helps boot your PC faster after you shutdown.
On older windows operating systems like Windows 7, a shutdown would close all open programs, sign out all users, unlink the windows kernel, disconnect all devices and drivers, close all background processes, and turn [...]
This has been confirmed to be the best way to remove old oil stains from your garage floor, concrete floor, driveway, and generator room floor in the event that you have an oil leakage.
Grease stains on the driveway and on garage floors aren’t pretty to look at. They also aren’t hygienic in the sense that if you or your kids walk over them, the oil stains can be transfered to other places in your home like your rug or carpet and other clean areas of the garage floor or driveway which would only make the problem worse.
Using detergents on thick oil stains in garages would be futile as not all of the grease would be broken down by the detergent, and the rest [...]
