Google released the much anticipated smartphone Moto X for its Motorola division yesterday. The Moto X is a very powerful smartphone packed with features that can give Apple and Samsung a run for their money. It even offers a cheaper price for its 32GB model when compared to the iPhone 5. With the pricing and features of the Moto X, one can obviously see that Google has officially joined the battle of the smartphone kings.
Some of the attractive features of the Moto X smartphone include a 4.7-inch AMOLED display, 10-megapixel ‘Clear Pixel’ camera (compared to 8 megapixel of iPhone 5), a 2200 mAh battery that Motorola claims will offer up to 24 hours of battery life and lots of options for users to customize their device to their liking.
So how does it stack up against the iPhone 5? Check out the detailed comparison table below which compares the tech specifications of the Moto X and iPhone 5.
Well, as can be seen from the table above, the Moto X appears to be shitting on the iPhone 5, but I hold any conclusion for now until I read reviews from customers. However, since Motorola will be launching the Moto X towards the end of August or early September, it will be up against the next generation iPhone very soon (expected to be launched at the end of September), which is expected to come with a faster A7 chip, 12-megapixel camera, fingerprint sensor, among others.
It remains to be seen if Moto X will be able to make a dent in new iPhone sales. Let us know what you think in the comments.
