Sprint To Buy T-Mobile In 2014?

Rumor has it that Sprint, the third largest mobile carrier in the U.S is planning to place a bid to purchase the fourth largest carrier T-Mobile in a deal worth more than $20 billion. If this happens, the mobile wireless market of the United States would no doubt be dominated by three large telecom firms, AT&T, Verizon Wireless and Sprint.
In a quote from a Wall Street Journal article:

Sprint is studying regulatory concerns and could launch a bid in the first half of next year, the people said. A deal could be worth more than $20 billion, depending on the size of any stake in T-Mobile that Sprint tries to buy.

Although there is a possibility but it has not been decided on yet. Remember how T-Mobile turned down the $39 billon from AT&T just 2 years ago?
